One of the members of the Birkenhead & Tranmere Community Benefit Society, James Kay, pointed out the need to find and protect the rare Victorian letter boxes which still exist in Birkenhead & Tranmere.
The photograghs show what can happen if there is no protection.
We are particularly interested in building a list of all the places where these can be found in our area.
