Preservation of the Lucy Box
Lucy boxes were in use in the days of trams to house the necessary electrics. A rare example of a “Lucy Box” has been located in the area.
The distinctive ornamentation suggests that this box has been there since before 1898. However it needs restoration, so the project is looking for funds and expertise to restore and protect it. Can you help?
