Lasting regeneration will only succeed if everyone works collaboratively, maintaining well-being as the golden thread running through every priority and next step. This integrated approach will drive a programme of projects delivered by many hands, turning ideas into action.
There are many well connected organisations supporting communities of significant need here.
However, these organisations can be fragile, with regeneration presenting both opportunity and threat. If gentrification’ follows, they may be priced out of the area. Securely anchoring them in Birkenhead, while maintaining their adaptability, is essential.
